Brief Description:

Construction of a new 4 million gallon per day (MGD) wastewater reclamation facility and supporting infrastructure in Central Maui. Project will enhance wastewater treatment capacity, improve reliability, and support long-term housing needs. Work includes 1) Central Maui Regional WWRF, 2) Kehalani Pump Station, and 3) Kehalani Force Main-Gravity Sewer projects.

Milestones:

January 2026: 60% Design Completed (Central Maui Regional WWRF)
March 2026: Project Conditionally Awarded CDBG-DR Funds
March 2026: NEPA Environmental Review Started
April 2026: 30% Design Completed (Kehalani Pump Station and Kehalani Force Main-Gravity Sewer)
