FEMA Hosts Industry Day for Modular Home Vendors
FEMA is actively seeking modular home vendors to manufacture, transport and install portable housing units for use as temporary group housing for individuals and families displaced by the Maui wildfires.
FEMA will host another informational session from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, at The Westin Maui Resort and Spa, Haleakala Ballroom, 2365 Kaanapali Parkway in Lahaina. Vendors attending Industry Day will learn of some requirements for the Alternative Transportable Temporary Housing Units, which will be installed at locations on Maui designated for FEMA group housing.
Pre-registration is required. All registration requests must be completed by noon Tuesday, Feb. 27. To register, go to: Modular Industry Day.
