Survey for Lahaina Recovery Plan now available in Hawaiian, Ilocano, Spanish, Tagalog, Tongan

The online community survey launched by County of Maui Office of Recovery to help shape the creation of the Lahaina Recovery Plan is now available in Hawaiian, Ilocano, Spanish, Tagalog and Tongan. The survey will be available until May 19, 2024, and can be found on Maui Recovers’ “Ola Lahaina” page at https://mauirecovers.org/lahaina. Click on the box on the top right to select the preferred language for the survey.

The County contracted Anthology Research, a market research firm in Hawai‘i, to conduct the survey. Input received will be anonymous – no identifying information will be connected to participants’ responses. The survey will take about 10 minutes to complete.

The “Ola Lahaina” initiative was launched by the County’s Office of Recovery and operates on the Maui Recovers website. As recovery efforts continue, “Ola Lahaina” will serve as a resource for the public to stay informed of in-person and online engagement events, to access feedback from other community members and to contribute to drafting Lahaina’s long-term recovery plan.
